This collection includes the sheet music of several songs composed or arranged by Robert Sauer for the symphonic band. Includes handwritten copies of "When the Snow Flied in the Rockies," "The Spirit of the BYU," and "Let's Go, America," and arrangements of "We Thank Thee O God For A Prophet" and "Come, Come, Ye Saints." Also included are a program notice, BYU Band Reminders, and a photocopy of a picture of Carl Busch.

Robert Sauer was born on 3 October 1872 in Rommenean, Germany. He was a composer and band master, and worked as a professor of music at Brigham Young University from 1920 until 1944.
